The Faculty of German Philology of B.Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University and the Faculty of Translation and Foreign Languages of Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University expand network cooperation between the universities. On April 12, 2021 the teachers of the two departments organized and successfully held the First regional student scientific and practical conference for students of non-linguistic specialties. The organizers of the conference were the Head of the Faculty of German Philology Zh.N. Sarangaeva and Associate Professors Z.B. Dorzhinova and E.O.-G. Daldinova.
Students from various faculties of our universities showed great interest and prepared reports in English. This event helped to increase the motivation of students to learn English.
Students had the opportunity to speak in English in front of an international audience and listen to reports from other participants. Teachers from both universities hope that the conference will become a tradition and attract a large number of participants.
